Privacy policy

Last updated: October 2026. This is an English translation of our French privacy policy, which prevails in case of discrepancy.

1. Data controller

ZivRank (SAS), publisher of the ZivRank brand, registered with the Créteil Trade and Companies Register (RCS) under number 106 806 425.

2. Data collected

  • Quick Scan form: name, business email, company, website, industry, competitors, the buying questions you submit.
  • Contact form: name, email, message.
  • Audience measurement: Cloudflare Web Analytics (anonymous, cookieless).

3. Purposes

  • Deliver the Quick Scan you requested.
  • Answer contact requests.
  • Targeted business communication (with explicit consent).
  • Anonymous audience measurement.

4. Legal basis

  • Consent (Quick Scan, contact).
  • Legitimate interest (anonymous audience measurement).

5. Retention periods

  • Non-client prospects: 3 years from the last contact.
  • Clients: term of the contract + 5 years (accounting obligation).
  • Audience logs: 13 months maximum (CNIL, the French data protection authority, recommendation).

6. Recipients and processors

Data is accessible only to authorized ZivRank staff. The only transfer outside the EU (Airtable, United States) is covered by a signed data processing agreement (DPA) and standard contractual clauses. Processors used (all under GDPR-compliant DPAs):

  • Cloudflare (hosting, EU edge) — Cloudflare Germany GmbH
  • Hetzner (self-hosted orchestration server) — Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany
  • Airtable (CRM database) — Formagrid Inc., United States — signed DPA, transfer covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC)
  • Brevo (transactional email) — Sendinblue SAS, France
  • Google Workspace (business email) — Google Ireland Ltd
  • Anthropic (Claude API, AI processing) — Anthropic Ireland Ltd, EU

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent at any time, and instructions on the handling of your data after your death. To exercise these rights: dpo@zivrank.com. Reply within 30 days at most. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL: www.cnil.fr — 3 Place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris, France.

8. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Databases are encrypted at rest. Access is restricted and authenticated for staff.

9. Cookies

The site sets no tracking cookie by default. Cloudflare Web Analytics works without cookies.
